calArts Gala at REDCAT

Produced by Madeline Falcone and Carmina Escobar of Boss Witch Productions and Alex M. Calle of hiddenlemons, the 2022 CalArts Gala at REDCAT is a celebration of CalArts by bringing together student and alumnx artists from every discipline to experience collectivity in art, performance, creative writing, poetry, multi- and new media, theater, and music.

An immersive experience that intervenes in the REDCAT lobby and theater, the Gala embodies the concept of collage, representing and affirming the CalArts ethos which seeks to create new meanings, multiply them, and create works that do not settle into fixed concepts, showcasing the forward thinking and creative work that is fostered at CalArts.

The 2022 CalArts Gala includes creative work by 22 CalArts alumnx, 21 CalArts students, and 6 CalArts faculty members.
